Poem: An Ode To Brielle

This Monday (3/16) will be my son’s second birthday. I owe a lot to Kyle. Because of him, I’m genuinely enjoying the true beauty and meaning of this short life. I have matured, away from the stupid being I was once. I’m not going to be where I am today if not for him.

I’m sharing this poem entitled An Ode to Brielle. I wrote this like two years ago. I hope that one day, he will read this and be proud of what I have accomplished because of him.

Son, I love you so much. You and your mom are the very season I strive to fight beyond what life can offer.

I have also shared this poem in my other blog. Here: http://goo.gl/VBgU8h

An Ode To Brielle

I was there

Waiting to grasp that little smile of yours

An hour seems forever; an inch like miles

But I know

The day will come for our eyes to meet

As we take a fleet into this ocean of dreams

Where you and I will be Kings

And this will be my cry

To love you til I die

  1. "An hour seems forever; an inch like miles." Can relate to this, man, especially when I spend time with my princess and my queen. :)
